We're looking for an experienced, empathetic and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a Part time (minimum of 3 days per week) or full time basis. This role will be a mixture of hands on clinical and office based management. You will be required to provide exemplary clinical care, oversee the provision of services to identified high risk customers in conjunction with our Community Life Managers and provide leadership and coordination of a strong team of dedicated staff.
What’s my day to day look like?
In particular, you will:
- Support customers to stay in their homes by providing high quality clinical care enabling customers to resume or continue their normal activities
- Help customers in life by providing personal care, respite, or specialized nursing supports.
- Lead a team of dedicated staff to deliver high quality clinical services to our customers in their homes.
- Build relationships with prospective and current customers and their families.
- Use your relationship skills to work collaboratively with other health professionals and network with key stakeholders.
- Work with the General Manager- care and service delivery, and quality compliance to ensure all clinical services are in line with the relevant standards, NDIS and ACQSC
- Assess, plan, implement and deliver health promotion to meet the customers needs and enable them to live their life their way.
- Develop and facilitate clinical based training to support workers as required.
- Work within funding parameters to ensure customers are getting what they need to maintain quality of life and assist with budget management as required.
To be successful...
You will possess current nursing registration with APRHA. You will celebrate diversity and culture, promote wellness and reablement through positive relationship building, respect freedom of expression and the independent decision making of our customers.
You will also possess current:
- Community Experience
- Access to your own vehicle
- Special interest in continence management and wound care/management
- You enjoy meeting people and have a knack for putting anyone at ease.
- You can organize and priorities tasks, work effectively with competing priorities, problem solve and meet deadlines.
- The ability to actively contribute to the ongoing successful delivery of the NDIS and Aged Care Standards.
- Willingness to travel. Valid Australian Drivers License and Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Up to date flu vaccination.
- NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Police Check (within the last 3 months or willingness to obtain one)
