How will I make a difference?

You will work alongside our customers to make decisions about their lives that help them achieve their goals; no matter how big or small they are.

  • Help customers to live at home by assisting with cleaning and domestic assistance, food preparation, mealtimes, medication, mobility, dressing, bathing and other aspects of daily living.
  • Support customers to stay social by providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Support customers to get out and about by transporting them to-and-from appointments, to the shops or even trips out with others.
  • Help customers in life by providing personal care, respite, or specialised nursing or allied health supports.

About you

You will celebrate diversity and culture, promote wellness through positive relationship building, respect freedom of expression and the independent decision making of our customers.

 

You will have:

 

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Experience and training in providing Personal Care
  • Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday between  9am and 3pm
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within last three months)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of current Influenza vaccination
  • Current certification in Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009)
  • A willingness to travel, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and registration
  • Previous experience in Community Care (preferable, not essential)
  • Full Driver's License
