About the Role

As a Support Worker at Community Vision Australia, your role is to empower customers to live independently, safely, and with dignity, while promoting inclusion and meaningful participation in their community. You will provide flexible, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, which may include:

  • Provide culturally sensitive and inclusive support that respects each customer’s individuality, choices, and goals
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation, medication support, and mobility
  • Encourage independence, social connection, and community participation through companionship, supported outings, and access to services and appointments
  • Deliver high-quality care that reflects Community Vision’s commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

About You

You are compassionate, respectful, and committed to supporting people to make their own choices. You value diversity, build positive relationships, and take pride in providing quality care.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in community care (preferred but not essential)
  • Availability across weekdays and weekends
  • Based in Perth’s northern suburbs
  • Full Australian Driver’s Licence (WA or Interstate)
  • Reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last three months)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of current Influenza vaccination
