We are seeking compassionate, empathetic, and enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our team and help our customers live their lives, their way.
The Role
This is more than a standard call-centre role. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, families, carers, and loved ones, providing support to staff, customers, potential customers, and their families. You will champion Community Vision’s customer-centred philosophy: “Your Life, Your Way”, ensuring every interaction empowers choice, dignity, and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, families, carers, and loved ones
- Problem-solve and resolve issues efficiently, providing clear, transparent communication, including sensitive conversations when needed
- Effectively use CRM systems to coordinate customer services and staff schedules
- Onboard new services using the current system and technology, ensuring customers’ needs are fully met
About You
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Are customer-focused with highly developed communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
- Have a high level of computer literacy, including experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Are adaptable and calm under pressure, while supporting customers and families facing complex challenges
- Value diversity, inclusion, and relationship-building
- Are willing to work rotating shifts between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday
Desirable: Experience in aged care, disability, or community services is highly regarded but not essential.
Requirements
- National Police Clearance (within the past 3 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of current influenza vaccination
