Support Workers - Sleepover shifts

We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Support Workers interested in sleepover overnight shifts in the suburb of Craigie. 

 

Due to the rotating roster, flexibility is essential. While the main focus is overnight shifts, availability for daytime and weekend work when not rostered overnight is highly desirable.

About the Role

About you

You will celebrate diversity and culture, promote wellness through positive relationship building, respect freedom of expression and the independent decision making of our customers. 

 

Key skills and requirements:

  • Ability to engage respectfully and effectively communicate with customers in all forms.
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to overnight sleep shifts
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Committed to high-quality documentation and safety standards
  • Full Australian Driver's Licence (WA)
  • National Police Clearance (within last 3 months)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
  • Current certification in Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009)
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and registration.

 

Additional attributes:

  • Previous experience in supporting individuals in disability services with behaviour support plans.
  • Open to working day and weekend shifts where required
  • Applicants must be comfortable working around animals and be pet friendly, as there is a house cat on the premises and a small dog who may visit occasionally.
